Idaho Credit Union helps eight families with $120,000 home down payment

According to a recent news release, Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) provided $120,000 in down payment assistance to eight income-limited homebuyers in the LEAP Housing Trust. These eight Idahoans became homeowners in time for Christmas.

"We were able to set aside some money to help families get into homes, and the cool thing about working with LEAP is that giving a little bit of money can multiply, and we can impact more people together," said Mitch Rudder, VP of Mortgage Sales, ICCU

ICCU also plans to extend the holiday spirit further by delivering Welcome Home gift baskets to the new homeowners at Whitney Commons.

LEAP's down payment assistance program is designed to alleviate financial barriers for prospective homebuyers, helping them secure stable and affordable living spaces that build wealth.
